My photography is rooted in connection — because the most meaningful images come from truly knowing the people I’m photographing. I create a calm, intentional space where you can simply be yourself, allowing the in-between moments to unfold naturally. For me, it’s less about posing and more about presence, capturing not just how your day looked, but how it felt. These photographs become more than memories — they’re touchstones you can return to for the rest of your life.

Learn About our Process
We've taken the time to outline our process so you know exactly what to expect before, during and after your wedding day.
I like to bring everything back to the basics: connection, breath, light, emotion, syncing up to nature's rhythm, the vibration of love, where the story reveals itself by just being.
This is a great question. Over the years I have found that less is more. A typical gallery is generally 600+ photos. Some people love to see all the bloopers and in-between moments. I am happy to cater to your needs if you want to see a wider selection of the day.
Please know that an incredible amount of time and love goes into viewing your photos, narrowing down the best moments, the best expressions, hours and hours go into editing, sorting, dreaming…this all happens while I am typically still on the road traveling and shooting. I know how excited you are to see your photos. You will have a highlight gallery within 1 week while a full collection is typically delivered within 3 months. Photo boxes, prints, and photo albums are created and delivered after my shooting season is completed, typically January or February following your wedding year.
Some couples like to have a quiet moment together before the ceremony to see each other for the first time. This can be a very special moment throughout the day. You can choose to exchange private letters, gifts or vows. Having a first look ahead of the ceremony can also allow some time to have some of your photos taken beforehand, so you can enjoy more of your party afterwards.
Having a second shooter is great if it works within your budget however I am completely comfortable shooting weddings on my own. If your events are spread out, having a second shooter can be super helpful, or if you have a large guest count over 100.
It’s important to communicate specific and special events that will unfold throughout the day, let me know about important people and any dynamics, however a specific list is not needed. I have found that sticking to a list sort of takes you away from following the natural flow of the day and the real moments. You can view a full wedding day gallery to get an idea of what is typically covered. I love to capture the details, the essence, the emotion, the people. You can trust me. I sometimes use a list during family photos, or even better a family tree :) Just so I can call people by name and understand how everyone is related and connected. I like to communicate about this all a lot before so I can easily gauge what groups and moments will be most important.
The more time I can spend with you, your partner, your family and friends - the better. The more I can get to know the connections and relationships, the better I can be there for the very special moments. I love being there the day before to meet everyone, get comfortable together, introduce myself and make everyone feel welcome to come to me when anything special is happening.
I would like to think it is the perfect balance of helping you and directing you while not getting in your way. Photography is largely about reading a room, picking up the vibe. Of course I will lead you to beautiful places with beautiful light, when the moment is right and help you move together in ways that spark natural, beautiful moments. Think free-flowing not posing. I am often coordinating, directing and helping behind the scenes for the best flow of the day with your people.
As a bride myself I realize how hard it can be to plan all these things so far ahead of time, just book the basics or what you know you need now at a minimum and we can add on more time later and your timeline and budget come together.
Believe me, I know how expensive this all can get. And it can be stressful. Don’t spend any more money than you feel you are able to. Photos, for sure, are the one thing you will have forever after the days have past. It’s an investment. Think about what is most important for the two of you. For me, my work is largely fueled by inspiration. If you're getting married in a really beautiful place, if you feel like you have an incredible love story, if you’re out there doing everything you can to make the world a better place, let me know.
